Bernadette Swale, of Dacre, Son & Hartley, who has achieved a prestigious estate agent industry qualification
An estate agent negotiator has achieved one of the industry’s most prestigious qualifications.
Bernadette Swale, who works for Dacre, Son & Hartley in Ilkley, has completed the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) Level 3 Award in The Sale of Residential Property.
As part of the qualification, Mrs Swale, who works as a senior negotiator, studied a variety of disciplines, including property law, property appraisal, basic building construction and general practice relating to residential property sales, before sitting four exams.
Passing the qualification means she has become a member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA), which regulates, guides and assists property sales professionals in the UK.
Mrs Swale, who lives in Menston and has worked at Dacre, Son & Hartley for nine years, said: “I’ve always been keen on pushing myself to ensure I can offer the best possible service, and completing this course has been a big personal goal.
“It also allows me to demonstrate a very high level of professional service to our clients, and I am grateful for the support Dacres has provided during my studies.”
John Shaw, director of the new homes division at the firm said: “Bernadette thoroughly deserves this achievement.
“She has an excellent track record of success, even when market conditions are challenging and in an industry where standards can vary greatly, obtaining this award represents Bernadette’s dedication to developing as an agent.”
