Worshippers take dip in river for baptism service
Ten people recently braved the cold waters of the River Wharfe for baptisms with a difference.
Members of All Saints’ Parish Church conducted five baptisms with five more people renewing their vows.
Despite recent bad weather, the river was actually in perfect condition for the ceremony, above.
The five who were baptised were all from Ilkley, and the five who renewed their vows were aged from ten to 34.
