Twenty hand-made teddy bears will be off to Africa, thanks to the efforts of schoolchildren.

Members of the Knitting Club at Moorfield School, Ilkley, have made the bears, which were presented to Pastor Ivan from the Revival School for Orphans in Matugga, Africa.

“All the teddies will be loved and treasured and a big thank you to Moorfield's knitters for their generosity in giving away such a labour of love,” Pastor Ivan told pupils.

The school’s club is run by Brenda Burhill, who is helped by Elisabeth Bourgeois.
