ILKLEY-based OnePay is celebrating its tenth year in business by supporting a Yorkshire-based charity to help raise much needed funds.

The providers of alternative payment solutions has selected Martin House, who offer hospice care for children and young people across West, North and East Yorkshire as their charity to support throughout the year. OnePay will undertake a number of fundraising activities to raise money for this very worthy cause.

Pam Atherton, business services director at OnePay, said: “We are celebrating a decade in business and while we have always undertaken fundraising and charity activity we wanted to go bigger and better this year. The business as a whole voted for their chosen charity to support throughout 2018 and Martin House was selected; a charity that means so much to so many people.

“While our full schedule of fundraising events is yet to be finalised, we know it will include the likes of dress down Fridays, baking classes and competitions, sports days, a company BBQ, volunteering and plenty of other fun initiatives. Our aim is to raise £2,000 for Martin House. We’re really proud to be supporting a local charity and we cannot wait to get going!”

Founded in 2007, the company enables efficient payment to those without access to UK banking such as temporary or seasonal workers. Based in Ilkley, the company employs 45 plus staff and has a national client base.
