LABOUR candidates for Otley and Yeadon in this year's city council elections braved the snow to campaign on Sunday.
Sian Gregory, Elliot Nathan and James Ranson were out and about knocking on doors in the Henshaws area of Yeadon.
"Despite the bitter cold, the snow, the fog and the drizzle, we were really heartened by a warm response from a lot of voters we spoke to yesterday," said Sian Gregory.
"We’re determined the cold weather won’t stop us from meeting and listening to as many people as possible who want to talk to us. We even met some very cold ducks standing about on the ice at Yeadon Tarn."
The city council elections, when all 99 council seats are up for election, are on Thursday May 3.
