MOORFIELD School in Ilkley is delighted to announce that from September 2018, Mr Paul Baddeley will be joining Moorfield. He is an experienced head teacher who runs a highly successful school of 450 pupils in Ely, Cambridgeshire with 20 years of experience in primary education.

“Moving up to Yorkshire with my wife and four children in the summer is an exciting change for my family and the chance to lead Moorfield was a golden opportunity for me,” said Mr Baddeley.

Mrs Jessica Crossley, headmistress, who has been a dedicated and successful head at Moorfield for 10 years, said: "After teaching here for 16 years I would have really struggled to leave this wonderful school but the appointment of a new head of such calibre assures me that the school will go from strength to strength."

An Open Day on Saturday, April 23 from 10.30am to 12 noon will give prospective parents a chance to meet Mr Baddeley although visits to Moorfield are welcomed on any day. If you would like to arrange a visit contact the school on 01943 607285 or enquiries@moorfieldschool.co.uk
