IT’S a little known fact that Addingham Methodist Church has a flock of sheep. There are big ones and little ones, shy ones and extroverts, long haired and shorn.
Since the beginning of Advent these sheep have, just like many of us, spent a lot of time in the shops, and they’ve got lost.
On December 22 they’ll all be rounded up and brought home to church where the flock of sheep and people will be reunited at the Christingle Service.
There’s still time to collect your own list of sheep – who are all named - and go round the shop and business windows in Addingham to find out where they all are. The sheep will have a starring role in the Christingle service at 5.30pm on Christmas Eve. Cameo Hair and Beauty on Main Street has lists of the sheep. Every completed list at the Christingle Service gets a prize and there are sheepy refreshments afterwards. This is Christingle plus on Christmas Eve at Addingham Methodist Church.
