A SALE of more than 600 pieces of beautiful vintage china, 200 wine and champagne glasses and nearly 1500 pieces of silver or gold-plated cutlery will be held on Saturday, December 2 from 2pm to 4 pm in Bolton Abbey Village Hall (venue postcode BD23 6EX).

After four years of hiring out beautiful tableware for weddings and events, Susanne Loweth of Beamsley is closing down her hire business, Roses & China, in order to focus on her wedding flowers business, Beamsley Blooms. She is therefore selling out of her stock of tea sets, cake stands, dinner services glasses and much more - everything you need to lay a stylish table for a wedding or fine dinner. The china includes Victorian tea sets and fine porcelain dinner services by Minton, Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester and Wedgwood.

The event will include a “Big Brew” café to raise funds for Cancer Support Yorkshire offering tea, coffee, cakes and mince pies.

There will also be an opportunity to buy or order fresh, handmade Christmas wreaths by Bingley-based florist duo Rachel Slater and Jane Tucker of The Gathered Garden and beautifully scented aromatherapy products from Cross Hills-based bridal beauty and holistic therapist, Val Preston of Truly Essential.

Free entry and free parking behind the village hall.
