MICHAEL Luger has been reappointed chairman of Airedale Hospital's council of governors.
Mr Luger, who first took-up the post in 2014, will serve a further three years.
"I am delighted to have been invited to serve a second term," he said.
"I value the relationships I've built with the governors, board, staff and external stakeholders.
"I've learned a lot these past three years about the NHS – and Airedale specifically – and am pleased to be able to continue to work on the many initiatives we have begun."
Non-executive director Jeremy Cross has also been reappointed for another three-year term.
The chartered accountant said: "It's really interesting to work for the NHS in such a period of challenge and change.
"Airedale is well placed to look after its patients and community and it's great to be a part of that."
In a third appointment, Andrew Gold has become deputy chairman.
He has been a non-executive director since June last year.
Mr Gold said: "Although the NHS is going through a major period of change, I am committed as a board member to help ensure that the people served by Airedale continue to receive high-quality, safe acute care."
