PIZZAEXPRESS Ilkley has raised £764.13 for Macmillan cancer support during a week of events.
The main fundraiser was a 156 mile static bike when the team took it in turns to cycle the length of the historic Dalesway and back again. Throughout the week customers entered a Macmillan raffle and took the opportunity to name a table in the newly refurbished restaurant. The best name, picked by a Macmillan representative will win the entire table for an evening, with a two course meal and drinks on the house. Team members also spiced up Ilkley on Thursday night with a fancy dress tribute to 90s band The Spice Girls, alongside an exclusive appearance from David Beckham! The team also held a Great British Bake off competition.
The entire PizzaExpress Ilkley team would like to thank the generosity of its customers and the people of Ilkley, without whom the team would not have been able raise such a large amount for this impressive charity.
PizzaExpress Ilkley is also celebrating a newly transformed restaurant, a grand reopening will be held on July 13. Guests will be able to enjoy an evening filled with prosecco, pizza and live music from the locally renowned Tom Scothern.
