BURLEY Rainbows held a coffee morning in Burley on Saturday to raise money for the Scout & Guide new Headquarters project.
They also ran a toy tombola and a cake stall. Leader Helen Haskins said: "It was a lovely morning and the Rainbows were very excited to sell the cakes! We would like to thank everyone who came to support us and it made the Rainbows day!"
In the evening leaders and parents ran a Halloween disco for the Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers and Cubs as part of the on going fundraising. Both events raised a total of £400. More than £130,000 has now been raised for the new headquarters in Peel Place.
