THE bi-centenary of the Leeds Liverpool Canal was celebrated with a fundraising event at Apperley Bridge Marina on Sunday.
This included free boat rides, a bouncy castle, barbecue and a cycle repair session with Dr Bike.
All proceeds from the event, held at Waterfront Mews, went to Martin House Children's Hospice based at Boston Spa.
Rob Gordon, event organiser said: "It went really well, even better than I thought it would. The marina was a hive of activity. We had quite a lot of donations but we don't know how much money we have raised yet.
"We are looking to run it next year too."
