THE STAFF and children at Pool Pre-School Group have bid a fond farewell to their long-serving manager.
Terri Morris's 28 years of service was celebrated by a Wear Blue party held in her honour, and attended by past and present colleagues.
Everyone who came along to the event, held at the group's base in the grounds at Pool C of E Primary School, wore blue - her favourite colour.
Vikky Campbell, who worked with Mrs Morris for 15 years and has now taken over as manager, said: "We will all really miss Terri.
"She has very big shoes to fill and I feel honoured to have known her as a mentor, colleague and friend."
Mrs Morris was presented with gifts from children, parents, staff and committee members.
