AIREDALE Hospital's neonatal unit has received a £3,000-plus boost.
Human resources staff at mortgage company HML organised a month of fundraising activities, from a 'human hungry-hippo' game to raffles.
Samantha Allen, a recruitment specialist with the firm, said: "We decided the HR team would lead on the fundraising but the whole organisation got involved, including finance and facilities staff and the team in the canteen.
"We wanted to raise money for the neonatal unit as some of our employees have recently used it and were keen to give back.
"Also, it is a local charity, so we felt this was the perfect cause.
"We ended-up raising £3,047 in total."
Jo Newman, matron for children's services at the hospital, said: "We are extremely grateful for the generous donation and will use the money to help improve our parent and family facilities."
