TV cameras were rolling on Otley Chevin last week for a feature about local author John Burland.
A crew from the Made in Leeds station joined keen walker John, the founder of The Wainwright Society, on a circular walk from Surprise View.
Otley Chevin is one of the places featured in his book Yorkshire Walks, 6 Dales - 30 Walks, which he discussed during the filming with presenter Ben Random.
Made in Leeds Producer Harry Dobson said: "We have always been interested in escaping briefly from our glorious city, and one place many people from Leeds escape to is Otley Chevin.
"For our story John Burland, an author of a book about walks in the area, took us along the Chevin into the Chevin Forest park
"The scenery was breathtaking and definitely showed off one of Leeds and Yorkshire's best assets on TV.
"This won't be the last time we explore further around our city and I hope to work with John again for more walks!"
John is currently working on a new walking book, this time focusing on walks in the Washburn Valley, which will again be published by Sigman Publications.
Like before, the author is aiming to include a lot of local history, along with directions, maps and photographs, with the work.
Launched in November, 2014, Made in Leeds attracts an average 233,737 weekly viewers.
