COMPANIES are being invited to a new networking group to source business and share knowledge and advice.

The Ilkley branch of 4 networking (4N) will launch at The Craiglands Hotel in Cowpasture Road at 8am on Tuesday.

4N offers an opportunity for business owners and representatives from all industry backgrounds to come together. A key part of each meeting is a presentation by a leading expert on a specific business topic, and the chance for attendees to organise three, ten-minute one-to-one meetings with anyone they feel they could work well with.

Members can network locally, regionally and even nationally, swapping business with more than 50,000 colleagues and choosing from more than 5,000 business events each year.

The group's marketing co-ordinator, Andrew Vaux, who runs Cullingworth-based ARVA PR & Events, said: “After seeing the growth and success of other branches across the district, we’re delighted to launch 4N into Ilkley.

“4N is an exciting concept. Unlike other networking groups, where you may end up trapped in the corner of a stuffy room talking to someone with whom you have little, or even nothing, in common, 4N allows you to identify who you’d like to meet and arrange face-to-face meetings with them.

“It’s an excellent and extremely worthwhile way to conduct business, and we’re looking forward to welcoming businesses from across the Ilkley area.”
