ILKLEY Parish Council has backed a call by Ilkley Business Forum for an open meeting for all businesses in the town next week.
Every business in Ilkley is invited to attend the Ilkley Business Forum (IBF) meeting at 5.45pm on Wednesday. The purpose of the meeting is to consider what businesses want in Ilkley and how local businesses can work with Ilkley Parish Council (IPC) to achieve these aims.
"The meeting will be free to attend for all firms, and we encourage business owners to come along with their senior employees to make their views known," said IBF chairman, Steve Butler.
There will be parish and district councillors in attendance.
The meeting will also hear the latest IBF plans to improve its offering to members and make it a larger and more effective representative voice for firms in the area.
The meeting will run until 7.45pm at the Clarke Foley Centre in Cunliffe Road, Ilkley. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
