YOUNG children at Pool-in-Wharfedale can now enjoy playing outside rain or shine.
A new canopy has just been installed at Pool Pre-School Play Group's base at Pool C of E Primary School.
The equipment was paid for through funds raised by the Pre-School Committee, staff and parents, and a £1,000 Well Being grant.
Councillor Billy Flynn (Con, Adel and Wharfedale), who declared the canopy open last week, helped secure the grant from the Leeds Outer North West Community Committee.
Pre-School manager, Terri Morris, said: "Pre-school children aged from two-and-a-half to school age can now experience outdoor play here whatever the weather, using a wide range of equipment to enhance their learning experiences."
