YOUNGSTERS from a Yeadon primary school have helped to launch an estate agent's drawing competition.

Pupils from Rufford Park got their pencils out to have a go in the Manning Stainton Draw Your Dream Home contest.

The estate agent is inviting pupils from across West and North Yorkshire to let their imaginations run wild to be in with a chance of winning prizes for themselves and their school.

The overall winner will receive an iPad mini along with £500 for school funds. The second and third place pupils will each receive a £50 voucher for Toys R Us and £300 and £150 respectively for their school.

The winning entrant will also have their drawing made into a special card, which will be given to clients who buy their real life dream home.

The competition, for children aged between five and 11, is open to all primary schools located in the areas covered by the estate agent's residential sales and letting offices. Entry forms can be picked up from one of the offices and the closing date is December 3.

Sales director, Mark Manning, said: "This competition is part of an -going programme of activity to support the communities in which we operate.

"In the past 18 months, we have donated nearly £120,000 to a range of good causes, including schools, clubs and other youth groups, who all do such an important job."
