PRINCE Henry's has matched last year's best ever results for Prince Henry’s, 75 per cent of students achieving 5A*- C grades including English and Maths.
Headteacher Janet Sheriff described the results as excellent, adding: "This is particularly impressive given that the bar has been raised on both English and maths GCSE exams.
"There are some amazing individual successes at all levels of achievement as well as an impressive number of students securing grade A or A* in all of their GCSEs – there are too many to mention them all here but of special note are Ruth Selina and George Tyrrell - each achieved 12 GCSEs with 11 at A*. Abe Gilbody and Rebecca Clarkson each achieved 12 GCSEs with 10 at A*."
She added: "I am extremely proud of all of our Year 11 students - they have worked extremely hard to secure this success. Their effort and commitment, together with the expert teaching, guidance and support from our dedicated staff means that the vast majority now have the grades they need to progress to the next stage of their learning."
