MARK Ramprakash was one of the star attractions when he attended a charity event at Guiseley Cricket Club.

The former England cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing star was helping to raise money for club funds and the British Heart Foundation.

Ramprakash was one of a number of high-profile figures at the fundraiser, along with sporting stars Matthew Hoggard, Ryan Sidebottom, Anthony McGrath and Steve Harmison.

Guiseley CC had their first 'legends' day in 2012, when the club raised money to help improve training facilities.

The Professional Cricketers Association England Legends elected to bat. Bad weather meant the game was abandoned after 12 hours,- but not before Ramprakash and McGrath had managed to hit a number of balls out of the ground... with one breaking the windscreen of a car in the club car park!

The fundraiser also included lunch and an auction where a bat, signed by both Stuart Broad and Joe Root following England's demolition of Australia at Trent Bridge, went for nearly £500.
