A WOMAN had to freed from between boulders on Ilkley Moor after she fell, injuring her leg and back.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service and the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association team were called to the Cow and Calf Rocks last Wednesday (July 29) to reports of a woman injured on the moor.
The incideent happened at about 5.20pm.
The Fell Rescue Association say the 27-year-old woman had fallen, injuring her leg and back. Paramedics administered initial treatment and the injured woman was given an analgesic while team members worked to free her from a 'tricky situation' between boulders.
She was then placed on a spinal board and carried to a waiting road ambulance, which took her to hospital.
