A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a car flipped onto its side in a collision on a residential Ilkley street.
The woman was treated by an ambulance crew at the scene of the collision with a parked car in Grove Road, but her injuries are not thought to be serious.
Police sealed off Grove Road and ambulance and fire crews were also called to the scene at about 3.35pm on Thursday (July 23).
The street is at the centre of a campaign for a traffic regulation order to restrict parking, fearing it poses a road safety hazard.
Ilkley parish councillor, Mike Ridgway, was among those who saw the aftermath of the collision.
"This is what we said would happen, and now it has," he said.
He planned to discuss the incident, as well as other parking and traffic concerns across the town, with Keighley MP Kris Hopkins today (July 24).
