YOUNG footballers in Otley have celebrated the unveiling of new murals at their clubhouse.
Bradford-based artist Tim Curtis has created the artwork, using scaled-up club logos, and sign-writing on the walls of Weston Lane Juniors’ pavilion, on Weston Drive.
The results were officially unveiled last Saturday when dozens of players and more than a hundred friends, relatives and well wishers turned out for the end-of-season prizewinning ceremony.
Mr Curtis, who attended the event, said: “I am proud to have helped Weston Lane Juniors develop their outdoor space, especially as their ground and pavilion is in the heart of a public, shared area.
“The murals and sign-writing tell people what the building is and where they are, and use three massive scale club logos.”
