STUART Andrew, MP for Horsforth and Aireborough, has launched a Pothole Watch campaign allowing constituents to record any potholes they find, which can then be passed on to Leeds City Council to repair.
Mr Andrew said: “Potholes are becoming an increasing problem throughout the constituency, which can often prove to be dangerous. My Pothole Watch campaign will allow any concerned constituents to make me aware of potholes in their area, as this will then allow me to bring them to the attention of Leeds City Council and get the damage repaired. I am dedicated to ensuring Pudsey, Horsforth and Aireborough has access to high quality roads, which is why I have made it part of my six-point plan as we approach the election.
“Leeds City Council has had £949,462 in extra Government funding for repairing potholes, however potholes are clearly still causing issues for local residents.”
