OTLEY’S Town Mayor has praised the volunteers who made this year’s Victorian Fayre such a success.
Town Councillor Nigel Gill (Labour, Manor) officially opened the Sunday, December 7 event and donned period costume for the day.
The fayre, which attracts thousands of people each year and raises substantial amounts for charity, is organised by a small band of volunteers. Cllr Gill said: “They deserve more publicity because without them this event could not happen.
