TRAIN services on the Wharfedale Line were disrupted on Monday afternoon (September 8) when police were called to reports of a disturbance on a train in Bradford.
The 2.46pm service to Ilkley was delayed as a result of the incident and terminated at Guiseley. Northern Rail says this meant the scheduled 3.21pm service from Ilkley to Bradford had to begin at Guiseley.
British Transport Police were called to Bradford Forster Square station shortly before 3pm.
A police spokesman said: "Our officers spoke to a man on board the 2.46pm Bradford Forster Square to Ilkley service.
“The man was behaving in a disorderly manner and refusing to leave the train.
“We escorted him from the train and officers are now speaking to him.”
