A fun dog show has given a Weston business's fundraising efforts a major boost.

Cock Pit Farm Tea Rooms held the event, which featured classes for everything from most beautiful eyes to waggiest tail, on Saturday, June 21.

The sunny weather helped ensure a big turnout, with 45 dogs entered and rescue Labrador Max winning the Best in Show top award.

Owner and organiser Sue Sansbury said: "The weather was beautiful and the atmosphere was lovely, with new friends made.

"Thanks to all who gave, donated, and supported us and special thanks to my staff who all gave their time on Saturday.

"Our fundraising total for Yorkshire Cancer Research for the year so far is now nearing £2,000."

Visitors to the show also enjoyed a magician, face painting, a performance by Otley's Bad Dad Band, stalls and raffles.
