Devonshire Hotels and Restaurants has announced the appointment of Wendy Preston as group sales and marketing manager.
Wendy, pictured, joins the group from Womersley Fruit & Herb Vinegars, where she was general operations and sales and marketing manager, both in the speciality retail sector and restaurant market in the UK.
Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants group is a collection of hotels, inns and restaurants owned by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire. It includes The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, The Devonshire Fell in Burnsall and the Cavendish Pavilion café and events venue, Bolton Abbey, as well as inns on the Chatsworth Estate in Derbyshire.
In her previous post, Wendy led product launches in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Austria, and previously worked as deputy manager of Bettys & Taylors.
She said: “I am delighted to join the dynamic team at Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants and I’m looking forward to the exciting challenges it has in store for me.”
Managing director of Devonshire Hotels & Restaurants, Simon Rhatigan said: “I am thrilled to welcome Wendy as group sales and marketing manager.
“2014 is a new year and an exciting time for Wendy to come on board, and I am confident it will be a positive year ahead.”
