Horsforth-based cake maker Zoe Hopkinson has the recipe for half-term fun this February at a workshop for budding bakers.
Zoe will be helping children to bake their own castle creation, complete with dragon, based on her design which took gold at the 2013 Cake International show in Birmingham.
The champion baker has just launched her own business – Zoe’s Fancy Cakes – based at her Horsforth home.
For Zoe, who is at last working full time on her business, having the chance to pass on her skills to enthusiastic youngsters really is the icing on the cake.
Zoe said: “Children are so creative. I’m looking forward to the workshop which will give them the chance not only to bake but to come out with a work of art.”
The workshop, at The Grammar School at Leeds, is open to children aged between 11 and 16, and is organised by Stir Krazy Kids cooking clubs.
