An Ilkley-based business is in line to be named as one of the UK’s top training consultancies after being nominated for a prestigious industry award.
Dutton Fisher Associates, which delivers a wide range of training and development qualifications for managers and staff at organisations across the UK, has been nominated for the Training Partner of the Year award at the Semta Skills Awards 2014.
The company was put forward for the award by BAE Systems Maritime – Submarines in Barrow, where Dutton Fisher Associates’ team has provided training and consultancy services that have helped the organisation to train engineers and designers for a number of years.
The Semta Skills Awards, due to take place in London on February 12, will recognise the achievements of people, businesses and training providers across the engineering and advanced manufacturing sectors and celebrate the best of British engineering.
The Training Partner of the Year award honours those who provide excellence in supporting and delivering training programmes for employers.
Jo Fisher, director at Dutton Fisher Associates, said: “To have the consultancy, support and delivery of training and qualifications recognised is wonderful.
“To be nominated for this award by a company like BAE Systems Maritime is a great honour. “ “We are keeping our fingers crossed and look forward to the awards.”
