With the 2014 Ilkley Beer Festival fast approaching on February 7 and 8, planning is now well under way, with 15,000 pints of beer and 1,000 pints of cider on order.
Tickets went on sale for the Ilkley Round Table organised event in early December from The Kings Hall and a small number of tickets are still available for the Saturday afternoon and evening session, which can be bought in advance from the Flying Duck Pub in Ilkley.
For more details visit: ilkleybeerfestival.org.uk Ilkley Round Table would also like to thank the people of Addingham and Ilkley for their support of the Santa Float this Christmas, which raised £2,053.25 for local good causes. In addition to the Round Tablers, teams from the local Scouts, Guides and LS29 assisted with collections.
Daniel Gray, of Ilkley Round Table said: “We have to give a special thanks to Ilkley Community Fund who raise income from trusts and legacies as well as from private donations.
“They raise funds in order to benefit the community of Ilkley and its surrounding district and hence have a very similar goal to that of IRT.
“We met with the community fund representatives throughout the year, with the outcome being them entrusting their funds to us, to continue their good work through Ilkley Round Table.
“If you or somebody you know in the local area could benefit from funds raised then please, please, contact us at communityservice@ilkleyroundtable.org.uk.
“If new to requesting funds we will be pleased to assist you with your application.”
