Fashion fun at rugby club helps charity
8:00am Saturday 2nd November 2013 in Local news
Almost 100 Ilkley ladies enjoyed an evening of fashion and fun at Ilkley Rugby Club last week whilst raising money for charity.
Three local self-employed women with a shared love of fashion, style and accessories, joined forces to put on the event last Thursday.
Image consultant, Anna Mewes, walked guests through the key trends for autumn and winter, with clothes provided by attic womenswear in Ilkley. Local milliner Beth Hughes of By Betty Bespoke Headwear then gave the crowd a preview of her Autumn/Winter collection. The catwalk models also wore handmade jewellery created by local woman, Libby Jubb.
The evening ended on a high with a raffle draw in aid of Martin House Hospice, which raised almost £200 for the charity.
