Ilkley pub kitchen hygiene case adjourned
9:04am Thursday 31st October 2013 in Local news
A court case against an Ilkley pub over food hygiene regulations has been adjourned until later in November to allow the company to take legal advice.
Project Pub Company (Ilkley), which runs The Yard, at 30a Brook Street, faces nine charges brought by Bradford Council.
A hearing at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court was adjourned yesterday.
The charges relate to the contravention of the food hygiene regulations, including charges of raw food being left next to cooked food, ‘filthy’ walls and floors in the food preparation area, tea towels used to dry hands also being used to clean surfaces, the training of a food handler, and non-compliance with a food safety management system.
The case is expected to resume on November 20.
