The chocolatiers at Bettys tend to have fun delving into the spooky side of their imaginations as the dark autumn nights draw in and Halloween approaches.
And as you can see from their window display at their Ilkley cafe on The Grove, above and right, they like to make an effort and get into the spirit of Halloween.
The firm’s seasonal treats and novelties, from the white chocolate pumpkins to lebkuchen dragon biscuits, aim to delight children and adults alike.
This year Bettys has produced a large milk chocolate owl, which is created using a vintage mould and is hand-painted by the firm’s chocolatiers.
Shop manager Mark Simister said: “It’s a very unique gift and it is proving very popular – you could say its flying out of our shop!”
