UPDATE: Two people killed as car hits tree in Ilkley

A man and a woman were killed when the car they were passengers in crashed into a tree and went into a ditch in Denton Road, Ben Rhydding, early today.
Police received a call from the 37-year-old male driver at about 3.30am saying he had been in an accident but he did not know where he was.
Police located the Hyundai Coupe at 4am and found a 35-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man dead at the scene. They had been passengers in the front and back.
The driver was taken to hospital for treatment for cuts and suspected internal injuries.
Police investigations are continuing into the cause of the crash.
