Bolton Abbey eatery named Best Hotel Restaurant 2013

The Burlington at The Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel at Bolton Abbey was named “Best Hotel Restaurant” for 2013 at the annual Oliver awards held this week in The Centenary Pavilions in Leeds.
The Oliver Awards recognise the best in Yorkshire’s hospitality industry.
Andrew Mackay, general manager of The Devonshire Arms, said: “This award really is special.
“Yorkshire has some excellent hotels and restaurants and so to be named as the best is high praise indeed.”
He commended his staff for all their commitment and enthusiasm and added: “The people who work here are paramount – it doesn’t matter how good our facilities are, it’s the staff that makes all the difference.
“Time and again, I receive letters from guests who congratulate individual members of staff for their courtesy and care and, in particular, for their friendly approach.”
The Burlington also retained its Michelin star for the fifth consecutive year in the Michelin Guide 2013 and has also been awarded four AA rosettes, making it the highest rated restaurant in Yorkshire.
