Community spirit alive and well at Ilkley care home

Residents and staff at an Ilkley care home have launched a new Community Spirit initiative to raise awareness of the service and activities its provides.
Hollycroft Care Home in Hebers Ghyll Drive, Ilkley, has been established for more than 20 years and provides a care service for the people of Ilkley and surrounding areas, with residential care for up to 28 residents aged 65 and over. It also offers respite stays.
For the first time staff and residents have decided to provide support to a local community charity or group each year and for 2013 Hollycroft has chosen the Ilkley & District Good Neighbours scheme as its nominated charity.
