Commanders swing in to Ilkley to aid charity

A fundraising show by The Swing Commanders will be held at Ilkley's Kings Hall this spring. The group, which performs a mix of 1940s classics, boogie-woogie, western swing, 1950s jump jazz and much more, will be appearing at 7.30pm on Saturday, April 6. Tickets cost £12 and can be purchased by calling (01943) 863672 or 863258, or visiting Ilkley Visitor Information Centre. All proceeds from the show, which will also feature Alan Harris with Hot Rhythm and Dynamite, will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care charity.
