Charity fundraising is on the cards for Olicana Bridge Club

Olicana Bridge Club raised more than £500 for the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s Sprinkle Sunshine appeal fund, with a Swiss pairs event held at the club last Saturday afternoon.
As a keen bridge player, the Lady Mayoress, Margaret Smith, participated in the competition and at one stage of the afternoon achieved the brief distinction of reaching Table 1 with her bridge partner, John Cole. More than £50,000 has already been distributed to small charities and voluntary organisations throughout the Bradford district from the Sprinkle Sunshine appeal.
