Florist shares secrets of her wedding day
1:00pm Sunday 3rd March 2013 in Local news
Janine Sully
Janine Sully was the demonstrator for the February meeting of Ilkley Flower Club, with the theme Love is in the Air. She has been a florist for 30 years and has worked in Holland and the Caribbean with her job.
Recently married herself, Janine, pictured right, talked about her own wedding flowers and also some of the funny stories that have happened when she has been working in her florist shop and when training. She demonstrated an arrangement in a crate, two baskets together and a love heart with it being near Valentine’s Day.
The next meeting of the flower club will be the annual general meeting, starting at 7.30pm at the Clarke Foley Centre, Cunliffe Road, followed by a talk given by Anne Drake called Dancing for Joy, which she was unable to do at the January meeting.
There will be a faith supper. Visitors and new members are welcome.
In last week’s edition we inadvertently printed the picture from the January meeting.
