Ride across Dales and help raise charity cash
2:00pm Saturday 2nd March 2013 in Local news
Cyclists can raise money for a charity which helps blind people by taking part in a bike ride through the Yorkshire Dales.
The Three Peaks Classic Cyclosportive is a long-distance on-road event which takes in the famous three peaks of Yorkshire: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
This year the event has chosen Henshaws Society for Blind People as its charity partner, with a donation from every entry fee going to support Henshaws' services in Yorkshire.
The entry fee for the event on Sunday, June 16 is £30. The fee includes support such as food, mechanical assistance, insurance and first aid, as well as a donation to Henshaws Society for Blind People and British Cycling.
To fundraise for Henshaws e-mail community fundraiser Hannah Saxon at hannah.saxon@henshaws.org.uk or call 01423 814501.
