Ilkley steps refurbishment work is almost complete

An official opening of refurbished steps in Ilkley’s Riverside Gardens will take place on Sunday April 7. Ilkley Parish Council recently approved a £4,000 award for the renovation of the Memorial Stone and Steps at the Riverside Gardens, as part of its Diamond Jubilee spending. The sum is being match funded by Bradford Council. Work is expected to be completed shortly. The refurbishment will be celebrated with an official opening on April 7, at 3pm, followed by afternoon tea, which will be served at All Saints Church House.
