Cyclists urged to join meningitis charity ride
10:00am Sunday 24th February 2013 in Local news
National charity, the Meningitis Trust, is calling on enthusiastic Wharfedale cyclists to take part in the Prudential Ride London-Surrey 100 event on August 4, to help raise money for the cause.
With public entries to the event now closed, the only way for people to get to take part is by taking a charity place, and the Meningitis Trust has a number of places available.
Anyone choosing to take up one of the trust’s places needs to raise a minimum of £500 in sponsorship and pay a £75 registration fee.
