Harewood Twilight walk will remember loved ones

Walk Ten, the annual twilight walk to remember loved ones and raise funds for Marie Curie takes place at Harewood House later this summer, on August 10. The 10k evening walk will follow a route through the grounds of Harewood, ending with a music filled finale at 10pm. This is the time that many Marie Curie nurses start their shifts, as they provide care to terminally-ill patients across Yorkshire. Memory lanterns will be available to write a message. As darkness falls, these messages will be illuminated by candlelight. Visit mariecurie.org.uk/walkten or call organisers on 0845 052 4184 for more information.
