Wharfedale firms are asked to join new campaign
9:00am Friday 22nd February 2013 in Local news
Businesses are being invited to an event to show them the benefits of taking on apprentices.
Employment Leeds is hosting a business breakfast – supported by the National Apprenticeship Service – to promote the support and advice available to businesses.
The event will be held at the Carriageworks on Friday, March 15 from 8.30am to 10.30am.
Councillor Adam Ogilvie: “Building on the success of our previous campaigns, this event will launch the Leeds Apprentice-ship Challenge 2013 to secure pledges from 150 of the city’s businesses to each create at least 150 apprenticeship places in 100 days.”
Firms interested in attending will need to confirm by e-mailing Employment Leeds before February 22. For more information contact the Employ-ment Leeds Team at employmentleeds@ leeds.gov.uk.
