The Winter Gardens, Kings Hall, Ilkley, will ring out to the sounds of clinking glasses and popping corks on Tuesday, March 12 from 2pm to 8pm as the annual Martinez Wine Tasting Extravaganza splashes in to town.

Now in its eighth year, this popular annual charity event gives wine lovers the chance to sample some of the world’s finest vintages. Over 150 wines from across the world, plus a selection of single malts, will be available for tasting throughout the afternoon and evening.

This year the proceeds will again be donated to Save The Children.

Organiser Jonathan Cocker, of Martinez Wines on The Grove donates £5 of the ticket price to a charity of his choice. Last year the event raised over £700 for Save the Children and he said that he really hopes to top that and reach £1,000 for the charity this year.

Tickets are £10 from Martinez Wines, 35 The Grove, Ilkley. There may be a limited number of tickets on the door.
