The speed limit through Arthington is set to be cut from 40mph to 30mph. Leeds City Council has issued an order to reduce the limit on the Arthington village section of the A659, and is inviting comments from the public. Comments should be e-mailed to adrian.hardy@ leeds.gov.uk before noon on February 25. Councillor Barry Anderson (Con, Adel & Wharfedale) is also asking for copies to be forwarded to him at Barry.Anderson@ leeds.gov.uk.
