Cancer charity seeks an hour of your time

Marie Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people in Wharfedale and Aireborough to donate just an hour of their time this March.
The charity needs hundreds of collectors from the area to support the 2013 Great Daffodil Appeal – its biggest annual fundraiser, which encourages everyone to make a donation and wear a daffodil pin.
Community fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care in West Yorkshire Claire Priestwood said: “We need more than 650 people from Otley and Aireborough to help with our collections this March.
“Donating just one or two hours of your time to the appeal will allow Marie Curie nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer, and other illnesses, in their own homes.”
