An Ilkley man appeared in court accused of perverting the course of justice over a speeding ticket.
Gordon Mee, 46, of Skipton Road, Ilkley, who was principal dealer at JCT600 BMW Bradford until last year, is accused of letting car sales manager Simon Stolting falsely claim he was the driver when Mee’s car was caught travelling over the speed limit in a 30mph zone. Stolting, 36, of Holmfirth, is also accused of the perverting the course of justice by claiming to be the driver.
